For the local or people from around Tibet could make the trip of 51km long (32 mile) in one day. But for visitor from outside Tibet will take 2 nights 3 days to complete. This three days plan enables you to enjoy the trek at relatively relaxed pace, with stopovers at Dri-Ra-Phuk and Zutul Phuk. South Asian Holidays follows 3 days route plan. Even better would be 3-4 or even 5 days itinerary which allow visitors to stop when and where they wish and to take a few side detours.
The route around Mount Kailash takes you past a number of monasteries and beautifully sceneries along with the view of Holy Mount Kailash. You will also come across with prodigious sites connected with great saints and other figures of Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Ease travels operates exclusive private tours with 4 departure dates starting from May – August. 18Days Kailash & Mansarovar Drive In & Drive Out

Day 01 Chennai - Bagdogra by Air. From there to Kakadvittal by road on the same day. From there
to Kathamandu by Air. Arrive to Kathmandu International Airport or bus station and transfer to
Himalaya Hotel or similar. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 Rest in Hotel.
Day 03 Kathmandu - visit temples. breakfast at Hotel and morning Pashupathinath Darshan. Lunch at Hotel. Afternoon clothing inspection and tour breifing. Dinner and overnight at Himalaya Hotel or similar
Day 04 Kathmandu -Nyalam 3750 m(150 Km). Early breakfast at Hotel and reach Tibet. Lunch at border (Nepal side). After immigration and custom formalities we proceed to Zhangmu (Border - Tibet side). We meet our Chinese Guide and we start our journey to Nyalam. (our fist overnight stay in China). Dinner and overnight at Lodge (Nyalam Lodge or similar).
Day 05 Nyalam - Day is free for acclimatization. Whole day we are here for the acclimatization. All meals are provided and overnight stay at Lodge (Nyalam or similar).
Day 06 Nyalam - Saga 4450 m ( 220 Km). After breakfast we drive to Saga (220 Km) via Lalungla pass (16000 ft) a huge lake Paigu- Tso and Brahmaputra River. A delicious packed lunch is provided. Over night at Saga.
Day 07 Saga–Paryang 4600 m (235kms).After breakfast at around 9AM. We will be proceeding to Paryang ( 235 Km). Throughout the journey the altitude will be 15000 Ft. Lunch on the way. Overnight stat at Lodge.
Day 08 Paryang - Manasarovar 4558 Meters and 277 Km. Today is the day for the life
time that your going to have the Dharshan of the Holy "Mt. Kailash and Lake
Manasarover". Day's program as usual. After breakfast at around ( AM - We drive through Mayum Las pass (17000 ft). The highest driving point of the driving.
Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight at campl. Horchu (tent)
Day 09 Manasarovatr Parikrama. Till 2 PM free for Pooja and Hawan. Drive to Darchen through Manasarovar Parikrama. Overnight at Lodge.
Day10 Darchen - Tarboche - Dirapuk (4860 M). "Holy day " after breakfast drive to Tarboche (8 Km) and start Trek for Kailash Parikram to Dirapuk (16,500 Ft), 12 Kms. Light luch on the way.Overnight at Lodge.
Day 11 Dirapuk - Zuthulpuk (4760M) - Dolma-La pass (5200 M). This is the day every Pilgrims talk about the most difficult journey throughout the Yatra - Trek upto the 18600 Ft.(Dolma pass) Rest of the program food will be provided and overnight rest in tent.
Day 12 Zuthulpuk - Darchen - Manasarovar. After breakfast we trek around 6 kms and we will be reaching to the point where the Jeep will be waiting for us. Drive to Darchen. And after lunch we drive to Lake Manasarovar (Horchu side) 70 Kms. Overnight at tent.
Day 13 Drive to Paryang - We are returning Home - leaving this Holy place ; After breakfast drive upto Paryang. (Lunch and dinner will be provided) Overnight stay at Paryang Lodge.
Day 14 Paryang - Saga: After breakfast drive to Saga. Enroute light lunch will be provided. Reach Saga - dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 15 Drive from Saga to Nyalam after breakfast. Enroute light lunch will be provided.Dinner at Nyalam and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 16 Drive to Zhangmu - Kathmandu. After breakfast drive to Zhangmu border. Here also, customs clearance and immigration formalities are to be completed to transfer to Nepal border. Same clarance formalities at Nepal border also. Light lucnch will be provided on the way. Drive to Kathmandu (144 Kms). Dinner at Kathmandu and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 17 Kathmandu to Airport transfer for departure to Bagdogra to proceed to Chennai with the blessings of Lord Siva.
